What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, WhatsApp or email, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, contact number, email address, the furniture you are interested in and anything else you write in the message. We do not collect information about you in the background and we do not buy contact lists.
Local storage on your device
The furniture selection feature on this site stores your chosen items in your own browser using local storage. That information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us automatically, and is cleared when you clear your browser data or press Clear selection.
How we use your information
We use it to quote you, to arrange the build and delivery of your furniture, and to answer follow-up questions. If you have asked us to keep you updated on new arrivals, we may occasionally send you a message about new designs. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than a courier or delivery team when your address is needed to deliver furniture you have ordered. We do not sell or rent customer information.
WhatsApp and third parties
Messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. Fonts on this website are served by Google Fonts and the map on the contact page is embedded from Google Maps, both of which may log the request in line with their policies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and order records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal purposes. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send that request to sales@vkfurnitures.co.za or WhatsApp 073 596 2630 and we will action it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page. The version on this page is the one that applies.
